''Running cost'' every month.

each member is receiving N700,000 monthly salary apart from other
Allowances.

This confession from Senator Shehu Sani  was also confirmed by his
fellow senate member Senator Sahabi Ya'u who's the spokesperson of the
of the senate.

''The senator did not reveal any new information regarding the salary
and other allowances becuase  these information is included in the budget
of the Federal House of Assembly, which everyone knows of'' says Senator Ya'u

In the past The members of the house of assembly were asked of the
amount they do receive as their salaries but they refused to reveal the

NIGERIAN AMBASSADOR TO TURKEY STOPS HRH SANUSI LAMIDO FROM VISITING NIGERIAN STUDENTS IN N.CYPRUS

HRH Muhammad Sanusi II        Amb Ilyasu Paragalda

NIGERIAN AMBASSADOR TO TURKEY PREVENTS HRH SANUSI LAMIDO FROM VISITING NIGERIAN STUDENTS IN N.CYPRUS
The Nigerian Ambassador to Turkey, Amb. Ilyasu Audu Paragalda stops His Royal Highness The Emir Of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II, (the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria) from coming to the Island due to some reasons that he stated as diplomatic reasons. Nigerian students in Northern Cyprus aired their complaints and disappointment over the recent catastrophe caused by the ambassador, earlier this morning we received the full details about the incident from Nigerians studying in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
An annual academic event tagged ’Career week’, which is to be held at Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus from the 12th to the 15th of March is being organized and the Emir of Kano, HRH Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, accepted our invitation to grace the career week event, which is strictly for academic purpose, as well as to address international students which includes Nigerians. Several weeks and months of vigorous planning had been made towards this great event, and numerous resources were spent, but unexpectedly, the Ambassador of Nigeria to Turkey, Ilyasu Audu Paragalda, insisted that the Emir should not come to Northern Cyprus because Northern Cyprus is a non-recognized country; with claims that Northern Cyprus is not a safe place. Due to obnoxious “diplomatic” reasons. The Emir will not be able to make it as planned. The Emir was coming to Northern Cyprus for academic reasons, and we cannot seem to find any legal justification or provisions for the cancellation of his visit.
And just some weeks back The Ambassador of Turkey Accompanied Minister Of Justice to the same place they denied the emir an entrance, not only this there are some of the top govermnet officials that visited N.cyprus among them are The Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service,  and recently last week some senate and house of reps members were here on the island.

So Our questions as Nigerians living in Northern Cyprus here are:
Why is the Ambassador preventing the Emir from visiting when the ambassador himself has kids studying in North Cyprus under a scholarship scheme granted by the university? Also, why is the Nigerian Embassy in Ankara collecting very huge amount of money from each and every graduating student from North Cyprus universities just to get a signature on their certificates? Why are they collecting lots of scholarship slots from all the universities here, and sharing those slots within themselves and their staff each and every semester? Why are they charging outrageous amounts for International passport renewal when they come to renew passports of Nigerian Students here in Northern Cyprus?
We need the ambassador to answer all these questions on why he is trying to create a barrier between Nigerians and their leaders. Does that mean he is trying to repudiate the people whom he has been assigned to represent?
