A student of Turkish Language and literature was racially disctimated by an Instructor. An awful awful experience for a new student on a a Monday, the first day of the 2015-2016 Academic session.The Instructor asked each qnd every student to introduce himself, when it got to the turn of a Turkish-Kurd, he was asked;He said my name is E.A....The Instructor condemned the name.he said that that the name of thr Turkish-Kurd was not awful, but was also of resemblance to that of a terrorist.he also made it clear that it will be impossible for him to succeed in his Class.The student further asked, if acquiring education was based on his identity."The Instructor responded saying that, if it was he would not even be in his Class."The provocation of the unpleasant experience made the kurdish student file a report of the racial discrimination to the. RectorateKibris Gunluk newspaper, confirms that the discrimnatory case would be taken to the Disciplinary Commitee, and due action would be taken against the discrimantory act.In the next few days, we will have a response the result of thr Disciplinary actions taken by the Disciplinary Board
