UN Secretary General`s Special Adviser on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide, who has congratulated the new leader of the Turkish Cypriot community Mustafa Akinci, will be in Cyprus between May 4 – 8 to continue preparations for the resumption of peace talks.
A readout released by UNFICYP`s public information office says that Eide “congratulated Mr. Akıncı on his new role and welcomed his commitment to resuming negotiations as soon as possible.
