Christodoulides hints that more Cyprus crossings may open

Last week it was announced that work will begin to open the Deryneia crossing point on the Green Line in eastern Cyprus, but few details have been released.
                                                                                          Saturday, 30 May, 2015

Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides has said that the opening of more crossing points along the divide is a continuous and ongoing process.

"As regards statements and discussions on the opening of further crossing points, in addition to those already announced, the Government wishes to make clear that the opening of crossing points is a continuous and ongoing process”.

He recalls that this is noted in the joint statement by the leaders of the two communities on May 28, in which it is said that the competent Technical Committee (on crossing points) will further examine the issue of opening of other proposed crossing points.

Last week it was announced that work will begin to open the Deryneia crossing point on the Green Line in eastern Cyprus, but few details have been released.

A crossing at Lefka, overlooking Morphou Bay is also slated to open.

Possible future crossings are likely to be at Paphos Gate, in the ancient walled city of Nicosia and at Athienou-Piroi road,
 near Larnaca .

Erdogan hopes for 'path toward solution' in Cyprus..

Recep Tayyip Erdogan

                                                                                           Thursday, 28 May, 2015
TURKISH President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Turkey will never abandon its rights as Cyprus’ guarantor country.

He made the comments during a live broadcast on NTV, where he answered questions on a variety of subjects including the presidential system, the June 7 elections, the Solution Process and the Cyprus issue.

Erdogan said that current relationship between Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akύncύ and President Nicos Anastasiades can be a prelude to a settlement on the island.

"We discussed partially this issue when Mr Mustafa [Akinci] visited Turkey. We wish that this will continue on the path towards a solution. We talked this throughout. If a positive outcome comes out from these negotiations, the Cyprus problem will no longer be a problem and both North and South Cyprus will take a step with an essential structure of two founding states. However, we will never be able to abandon our rights as a guarantor country.”

Responding to a question as to whether the talks had started on a positive note and whether the negotiations could progress this time, Erdogan said: "Mr Anastasiades had first rejected the 12th point in the 11th of February Joint Declaration but then took a step back. This was extremely important because the UN Secretary General was looking at the process positively at the time. He is still looking at the process within that framework”.

Replying to a question on the guarantees and that an atmosphere is being created whereby the EU could be seen as a guarantor, Erdogan said: "This is not a fair approach, and it is not possible to be accepted. How can we rely on its justice when the EU did not even keep its own promises? Besides, it does not have the right. The right of guarantor belongs to three countries here, Britain, Greece and Turkey. The EU itself did not recognize some rights of the north Cyprus on the financial issues. For example, even in the meetings we held in Switzerland, at that time Verheugen attended these meetings on behalf of the EU, the EU could not give the necessary support even at the outcome of those meetings.”

Akinci looks to 'new era' in Cyprus....

Mustafa Akıncı
                                                                                           Wednesday, 27 May, 2015
TURKISH CYPRIOT leader Mustafa Akıncı stated there has been a "good start" in the negotiation process towards a solution of the long standing Cyprus problem.

"Good starts are important, continuation is important as well but the result of this process is much more important," he said.

The new leader, who was voted into office last month, also stressed that he believes 'with his whole heart' that it is time to move on to a new era in Cyprus.

He said that after years of deadlock, it is time for an era which will protect the legitimate rights and interests of both sides, which will make it possible for "all of us to live in equality and safety."

How Good is Sex for Your Health...

According to scientific researches, sex can help burn calories, reduce stress, reduce depression, relieve pain, reduce the risk of cancer and heart attack, reduce your risk of dying and even reduce the frequency of hot flashes in menopausal women.
Sex has really a beneficial impact on health overall, however the question that usually arises is: how can a man or a woman organize his or her sex life to derive maximum benefit? Is a series of one night stands as beneficial as a long-term partnership? What about small masturbation sessions, could they be as beneficial and safe as the conventional way of having sex?
According to  Stuart Broody, a psychologist at the University of the West of Scotland, has dedicated his career to the study of such questions, and in his 2010 report entitled “The Relative Health Benefits of Different Sexual Activities” concluded that vaginal intercourse is the form of sexual relationship that provides the best physiological results.
He supports this conclusion with data from a survey from 2009, involving nearly 3,000 people who reported that having vaginal intercourse provides a higher level of sexual satisfaction, health and well-being.
Despite the conclusion of this study, the benefits of other forms of sexual activity cannot be overlooked. A 1988 study found that genital self-stimulation increases tolerance to pain and produces an analgesic effect in women. Another study done in 2003 also found a link between masturbation and reduced risk of prostate cancer that the researchers associated to frequent of ejaculation. But a subsequent study failed to demonstrate the relationship between the two, and which surely grieved many men, eventually concluded that the risk of prostate cancer is not related to the number of times that a person masturbates.
Some studies also suggest a link between sex and breast cancer: one of them is a reduced risk of breast cancer in women who have had multiple sexual partners, but another found that women who have had children with many men do not have, unlike the one mentioned above, a lower risk of contracting the disease.

7 Dangerous Foods That Kills 5ex Drive In Men, #4 Is Particularly Important

It is not new that sex has caused serious problems in relationship and marriages. Some men do disappoint in bed, without them knowing what’s causing it. In light of this, i have decided to bring you this 7 foods that kill sex drive in men. If you know and avoid eating them, you will have a great love life.

1 ) Diet Soda

Staying fit and trim is usually good for your sex drive, but eating and drinking products with artificial sweeteners can be a total buzz kill. Such sweeteners, especially aspartame, directly affect your serotonin levels, a vital hormone in getting to your “happy place.”

2) Chocolate

Chocolate is seen as some sort of aphrodisiac, because it stimulates feelings of euphoria and love. However, it could be seriously harming your sex life because it suppress testosterone levels.

3) Corn Flakes

It is believed that sweet or spicy foods inflamed the passions, and sought to depress the libido with a bland, sugarless cereal that no one could find arousing. Likely, it is the carbohydrates and grains in this cereal that deflate ones’ desires, not existential ennui.

4) Coffee

Coffee contains caffeine and it is a way to increase your stamina during sex. If you’re someone who gets jittery from coffee, then this isn’t good for you.  It can increase your anxiety, which lowers your sex drive, a frequent complaint of people with caffeine sensitivity.

5) Mint

We usually use mint to cure our bad breath. What you don’t is that, it is proven that menthol lowers testosterone and mint contains menthol, which in turn lowers depletes sex drive. I guess we have to fgure out something else to use for the bad breath, instead of mint.

6) Microwaveable Popcorn

Chemicals like perfluorooctanoic acid found in the bag’s lining can kill men’s sex drive and over the long term even cause prostate problems. This may be a bad news for all movie goers and lovers, I believe great sex is equally or more important than enjoying movies with popcorns.

7) Cheese
Cheese contains synthetic hormones, which isn’t good for the body and can seriously mess up with your body’s natural production of hormones, including estrogen and testosterone. It’s a tough one, considering  it is a great way to start a party and all. Well, now we know the truth and it should set us free
