Whilst western parts of Cyprus will have a dry, clear and warm day – rain and even storms are expected on the northern and eastern coasts late Monday.
The Cyprus Weather Service says the unexpected weather – during a period when there is normally unbroken sunshine - is set to continue into Tuesday morning.
Whilst Paphos and the west coast will be party cloudy and dry at 24oC, the Ayia Napa and Paralimni regions are expected to enjoy temperatures of 26oC but under cloudy skies, with the possibility of rain or isolated storms.
The south east will be covered with local mist or fog tonight with a top temperature of just 16oC.
