SUPPORT TO ABDULLAH AKINCI FROM TURKISH CYPRIOTS IN ANKARA..

AN ACT OF  GENERAL WILL:SUPPORT  TO  ABDULLAH AKINCI FROM TURKISH CYPRIOTS IN ANKARA

A civil disobedience is carried out in form of a protest by Cypriot students in Ankara. The purpose was to raise their voice in regards to the Polemics between President Tayyip Erdoğan and newly democratically elected President of Turkish Republic of North Cyprus. They explained that it is high time that Turkish Cypriots are given their rights, side by side with Turkey. The students further argued that it is necessary to change perspectives for solutions to be realized.

A group of Turkish Cypriot students of Ankara University protested on Yüksel Avenue. As a result of the polemics with North Cyprus, they voiced out slogans symbolizing their empathy. The gathering was full of utterances of Self-determination "We stand for our honor, an Independent Cyprus, the whole of the general public are nothing, but brothers, our believe is vested in brotherhood across the general Public.

After spreading the Slogan, one of the students volunteered to read a full explanation
he said ; "just a few days after verifying election results, Mustafa Akıncı was a able to stand on his feet, able to make his own decisions and act upon those decision on behalf of his people. He made an expression which no nation will tolerate. There is no doubt that this is not an act that is directed on personal grounds. This reaction is simply projected towards those of authority in Turkey, that allowing Turkish Cypriots and  the perspective of those in authority that represent them to prevail is the only solution."

Along with all the explanations made by Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Republic of Turkey has over the years maintained close ties with the Turkish Cypriots with respect and love, as it hope to keep doing that. In light of this, we Turkish Cypriot students of tertiary institution and Turkish  in Ankara stand in solidarity with President -elect, Abdullah Akıncı. We condemn the alternative prospects of subordination by Turkey, demanding the rights to self-determination as Turkish Cypriots.

The protest ended in silence and absence of violence of any sort.
