Staying fit and trim is usually good for your sex drive, but eating and drinking products with artificial sweeteners can be a total buzz kill. Such sweeteners,especially aspartame, directly affect your serotonin levels, a vital hormone in getting to your “happy place.”
2) Chocolate
Chocolate is seen as some sort of aphrodisiac, because it stimulates feelings of euphoria and love. However, it could be seriously harming your sex life because it suppress testosterone levels.
3) Corn Flakes
It is believed that sweet or spicy foods inflamed the passions, and sought to depress the libido with a bland, sugarless cereal that no one could find arousing. Likely, it is the carbohydrates and grains in this cereal that deflate ones’ desires, not existential ennui.
4) Coffee
Coffee contains caffeine and it is a way to increase your stamina during sex. If you’re someone who gets jittery from coffee, then this isn’t good for you. It can increase your anxiety, which lowers your sex drive, a frequent complaint of people with caffeine sensitivity.
5) Mint
We usually use mint to cure our bad breath. What you don’t is that, it is proven that menthol lowers testosterone and mint contains menthol, which in turn lowers depletes sex drive. I guess we have to fgure out something else to use for the bad breath, instead of mint.
6) Microwaveable Popcorn
Chemicals like perfluorooctanoic acid found in the bag’s lining can kill men’s sex drive and over the long term even cause prostate problems. This may be a bad news for all movie goers and lovers, I believe great sex is equally or more important than enjoying movies with popcorns.
7) Cheese
Cheese contains synthetic hormones, which isn’t good for the body and can seriously mess up with your body’s natural production of hormones, including estrogen and testosterone. It’s a tough one, considering it is a great way to start a party and all. Well, now we know the truth and it should set us free
